‘Indian 2’ is a sequel to the 1996 film Indian directed by Shankar. Kamal Haasan has reprised his role as Senapati in the film. The film has to clash with Sudha Kongara directed and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Sarfira’ at the box office. The film also had to compete with Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD which has been ruling the box office for more than two weeks. There was a lot of craze for ‘Indian 2’ before its release and it also had good advance booking for the first day. The film also had a good start but now it seems that ‘Indian 2’ is not able to attract the audience.
Talking about the film’s earnings, ‘Indian 2’ opened with 25.6 crores. On the second day, ‘Indian 2”s earnings fell by 28.91 percent and it earned 18.2 crores. On the third day, ‘Indian 2”s collection saw a fall of 15.66 percent and it collected 15.35 crores. Now, the initial figures of ‘Indian 2’s earnings on the fourth day of its release, i.e., the first Monday, have arrived.
